The Crown has three ghosts - most are friendly!
One of our bedrooms has the ghost of a young woman, who can be seen at the window looking out over Felixstowe Road. She wonders around upstairs and seems happy and peaceful.
However, in the restaurant, bar and cellar, many strange things happen on a almost daily basis by the other two ghosts!
Things rattle, have been moved or thrown and staff have been tapped on the shoulder. Strange noises from the cellar are a regular occurrence!
In the main bar gent's toilet a loud cough can often be heard when there is no-one else there.
The landlord has experienced one of the spirits upstairs - Just ask!
Most nights, if you are outside the front of the building a loud thud can be heard from the haunted bedroom, as if a wardrobe has been pushed over. However upon investigation, the locked room will have nothing out of place!!
